"Painting is a voyage of discovery. From the gentle hues of watercolors to the vibrant saturation of pastels and oil paints, each day brings an exquisite sense of joy and imagination."
What inspires me?
My style is abstract realism. Working primarily with pastels, acrylic, oil paint and various mixed media, I try to bring originality and emotional depth to my work, infusing an element of realism that is often combined with a touch of humour. My love for nature and people in all their forms is a recurring theme in my paintings, whether capturing the serenity of a seascape or the intricacies of a still life.
Inspired by artists such as Peter Petruccelli, Robert Knight and Edward Szutter my art reflects a deep appreciation for both the natural world and the human experience.
Through my art, I invite you to see the world through my eyes, offering a fresh perspective on the familiar and a playful twist on the ordinary. My paintings are a testament to my belief in the beauty of realism intertwined with the unexpected, creating a visual dialogue that is both thought-provoking and delightfully surprising.
